Kritik der politischen Ökonomie: Das Kapital, Bd.2, Kritik der politischen Ökonomie: Der Zirkulationsprozeß des Kapitals (Gebundene Ausgabe) Its ridiculous to criticise an unfinished work for lacking rhetorical flourishes. The remarkable achievement of book 2 is not how backward it is, but how advanced: Marx lays the theoretical basis for economic comprehension of the revolution in the 'Supply Chain', including just-in-time production, the quality revolution, EDI, ETF which have no theoretical anticipation by bourgeois economists. His difficult but remarkably prescient analysis of the 'Circuits of Capital' anticipates theoretically what bourgeois 'management science' has taken more than a century to arrive at in practice. As for the wonderful marginal utility theory, it should be remembered that Stanley Jevons believed that capitalist crises occurred because of sun-spots! Marvellous! In fact, Marx had already criticised the marginal utility "theory of value" in his notes on Wagner. Bukharin continued this criticism in his 'Economic Theory of the Leisure Class' which engages in a systematic critique of neo-classical theory and by Grossmann in his 'Classical Political Economy and the Problem of Dynamics'.
